How It Works

Our Process

Made for you, from the first fitting to the final stitch — here's what to expect from booking to pickup day.

01

Book Your Private Appointment

Every visit starts with a private, complimentary, one-on-one appointment — no shared fitting rooms, no rushed timelines. We're open Wednesday–Sunday at 2025 Irving Blvd, Suite 108, Dallas.

02

Discover Your Style

Try on gowns from our showroom and talk through silhouettes, necklines, fabrics, and details with your stylist until your vision comes into focus.

03

Customize Your Gown

Most of our gowns are made to order — adjust an existing design with your own sleeves, neckline, fabric, or embellishments, or go fully custom and design something from scratch. We also carry a small selection of new off-the-rack samples, in bridal sizes 6–20, for brides who want to take a gown home the same day.

Measurements & Order

Once your design is set, we take your exact measurements and your gown goes into production cut specifically for your body — not altered down from a sample.

05

Production

Lead time depends on how customized your gown is — generally 14 to 32 weeks. We recommend booking your first appointment 6–8 months before your wedding date.

06

Pickup Day

Your gown is made in your exact measurements, so most brides need only minor alterations to get it perfect on their body — every body changes and settles a little differently, even with a custom fit. We'll help you line up any final alterations before you wear it.

Common Questions

Pricing & Customization

How much does a Lily and Lace Bride gown cost?+

Most brides invest $3,500–$5,000. Fully custom designs made from scratch start around $5,500. Every quote is personal to your gown, your fabric, and your customizations — we'll walk through pricing with you at your appointment.

Can I customize any gown, or only fully custom designs?+

Both. You can take a gown you love from our showroom and customize it — a different neckline, sleeves, fabric, or embellishments — or start from a blank page and design something fully custom with your stylist.

How long does production take?+

Generally 14 to 32 weeks, depending on how customized your gown is. We recommend booking your first appointment at least 6–8 months before your wedding date.

Will my gown fit perfectly off the production line?+

Custom measurements give you the best possible starting point, and for most brides, only minor alterations are needed. Every body changes and settles a little differently, even with a custom fit, so we don't promise a perfect fit straight off the hanger — no bridal boutique honestly can — but we do promise a gown made entirely for you, and we'll help you line up any final alterations to get it right.

Is the appointment really free?+

Yes — every appointment is private, one-on-one, and complimentary. We ask for a card on file to hold your time slot; there's a $25 fee only for cancellations inside 24 hours or no-shows, and you can self-cancel anytime at lilyandlacebride.com/book/cancel.

Do you sell gowns off the rack?+

Most of our gowns are made to order in your measurements. We also carry a small selection of new off-the-rack sample gowns, in bridal sizes 6–20, for brides who want to try on and take a gown home the same day.
